It.s basically a set of 11 tracks (Hush / Doin / Barbar.s Kingdom / Scowam / Big Feeling / It.s Yours / ILD / The Fox / Jars / Little Story / Song From Easy. 68:24.) in a contemporary Jazz/pop mold. At its best, it sounds like a less than exciting John Scofield record. At its worst it sounds like the rest of the faceless music of this ilk. Oddly enough this is an 8-year-old recording. One wonders why Wright didn.t bother to record something newer. There.s just not that much that.s distinctive here.
