News News from Cachet 9.14.06 Cachet releases debut CD on Dinosaurus Records! This highly original group features soulful, powerful, original tunes recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubs or second takes. This rare CD by this now defunct group will only be available through CD Baby Trust us, you do not want to miss this incredible album! 'Cachet', recorded in August, 1999 features members of the jazz fusion group Dinosaurus and showcases the vocal and writing talents of super diva vocalist Deleska Crockett. Cachet was formed in 1996 by David Wright and Deleska Crockett by combining their musical tastes, experiences and commonalities. David and Deleska met while students of the famed Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. Fusing elements of Soul, R&B, Fusion, Rock, Jazz and intelligent lyrics, cachet was forged. Although this unique music is unlike other music you may have heard, comparisions can be made to the Brand New Heavies, Icognito, India Arie, Randy Crawford and Lalah Hathaway.
